Shanti Karmani is a dog, at least, from the outside she looks like one.
As she sits and ponders, thinking how it can take a minor event, a chance meeting, walking through an open door, or one tiny act of kindness, to change lives forever. In her case, it was a series of linked chances which can only be described as mystical and magical. Where would it lead?

Shanti prefers the company of humans to dogs, and believes she was a human before becoming a watchdog for this incarnation. Regardless of any earlier incarnations, in this one, Shanti was determined to create a fabulous future, and decided this the moment she opened her eyes.

Call it coincidence, synchronicity, fate or luck, this is the story of how Shanti came to be here today, and the story of her journey from the Kingdom of Bhutan to Australia. Would she find happiness?
