This book is a verse-by-verse meditation through Paul's letter to the Ephesians. It many hymns from the past that are appropriate to the meditation being considered. Each meditation ends with a "Reflection Moment," which challenges the reader to consider the ramifications of the meditation that has just been read. Occasionally, there are hymns from the past that enhance the theme of the meditation. There is also an appendix containing a listing of every Scripture referenced in the book and which specific meditation that Scripture is mentioned. This helps the reader to understand the overall context of the meditation.

This is the sixth book of meditations written by John LeHew, Sr. Each of the books are formatted essentially the same, with a meditation and a "Reflection Moment" for each meditation. The other books cover Paul's letters to the Galatians, Philippians, and Colossians. In addition, Mr. LeHew has written meditations through First and Second Peter.
