Bob Benda is a retired Professor of Biology. He moved to Alaska in 1981. He live in Valdez, Alaska.He has observed and photographed Alaska wildlife for over three decades. He worked for two years in East Africa on a Lake Victoria fisheries project. He also worked for the US Fish and Wildlife Service and the US Forest Service. He also participated in environmental studies during the 1989 EXXON Valdez oil spill.
