Earth Kids: Environmental Superheroes is an environmental science fiction story that teaches children about pollution and the importance of protecting the environment. The Earth Kids are environmental superheroes that help save the planet from environmental pollution. Sandy Soil is created by engineers on Earth with superpowers to clean up contaminated soil. She alone is not able to solve all of Earth's pollution and wishes for other environmental superheroes with powers to clean the air and water. Soon Sandy Soil meets Wendy Air and Rainey Water, two superheroes from a distant galaxy. They traveled to Earth following a beacon of light that is deployed by the evil Colonel Loy, who traps them inside a chamber and plans to turn them into supervillains. However, Colonel Loy's plot fails and the three superheroes meet and will work together. Now Sandy Soil can save Earth from environmental pollution with the help from Wendy Air who has superpowers to clean polluted air and Rainey Water who has superpowers to clean up polluted water.
